What we see & What we stand up for
We are a cleantech startup led by women. We were united by our vision to support and contribute to environmental conservation, and transcend benefits for society.
Our mission is to add a new water source to the water game and embrace a whole new water source.
According to the UN by 2020, 30-40% of the world will be under a water stress situation, with already 14 countries under extreme drought situations. With also wildfires around the world that translates to an estimate of 10 football fields of land are being burned per minute, in the U.S. only, wildfires represented an economic loss of 400B$ only in 2018, creating immeasurable biodiversity loss.
Lack of access to water, water scarcity or drought, reforestation, refill of cold mantles, water reserves for forest fires, the establishment of communities or shelters, restoration of natural areas throughout the world that are under drought, and highly exposed to fog.
The solution is Fog, Permalution is introducing a new water source into the scene. With our 2 product configuration: our water radar and fog catcher, we can capture from 150-400 liters of water per day, which can support a family of 4-6. It is a passive solution and it does not alter ecosystems.
What we do
Making fog water accessible to everyone
Even though fog water harvesting practices have been around for thousands of years, however, there is little to no information about the areas around the world exposed to fog that can be used for potential projects. We leverage our technology development with research for fog data around the globe, along with local, state, and federal fog regulation development for each project.
Create a brighter future for everyone
If we deliver fog catchers around the world, we will achieve a reduction in water stress areas. We want to introduce a new water source into the game to alleviate the water stress situation around the worll and live better and healthy lives.
